Disappearing 9 Patch Pattern

I am new here and need some help with the site, please. I found a lovely quilt on Pintrest that said it was added from here last October. Is there any way to find this picture and more information about the quilt? I am hoping there are some instructions available for finding it and for then making the quilt. Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Here are some free patterns and a video to get you started.

Maybe someone remembers the quilt from October. Good luck!!

Try googling "dp9 site: www.quiltingboard.com" I came up with many links to the QB and disappearing 9 patch.

Moda Bake shop and Missouri Star Quilt both have instructions on how to make a DP9. There are other places with instructions, too. Here's a link to another tute: http://www.psiquilt.com/2009/03/disa...ial-super.html

Just another idea for you. After you watch a tutorial, draw your 9 patch on paper and color in the squares the way you think you would sew them together. Then cut the paper and play with arrangements. If you don't like the way it looks, draw another 9 patch and color it in differently. I often do this to help me actually see how a block will look, and I don't waste any fabric.

On the top right of this board, there is a little window with a magnifying glass by it. Type in "disappearing 9 patch" and it will search all the items for you that have those words in the title or body. Hope this helps, and welcome!

Here is how to make a D9P Star block. I thought it was interesting.

An easy way that I remembered it, is picture a 9 patch block. The corners will stay the same size, the centers on the edge will become rectangles, and the center will become 4 small squares. So many people opt for the center square to always be the same color for consistency. Making D9P quilts are addictive.

Click on the Advance search by entering Disappearing 9 Patch or D9P. You can select a particular month so it will shorten the search. Be sure to narrow the search by selecting post. It is a very popular quilt on this website. Good Luck

Welcome to the board !!
