Disappearing 9 Patch quilting ideas

Looking for quilting ideas for a red/white and black Disappearing 9 Patch. I can do SID, but wondered about another simple design. Thank for your ideas!

Hi Kitsie , hopefully you can see the quilting in this picture; I divided the quilt into 4 sections and just did opposite straight line quilting in each quadrant. Easy and it looked good with the D9P :)

I like the 4 quadrants quilting idea! Gonna use that!
The quilt looks 3D. Amazing.

Thanks, ekuw

Your idea or rather the quilt looks really nice! It has given me some good ideas! In fact I might just "steal" it!

I think several of us will "steal" or "borrow" the idea of quilting as ekuw has done. Love it when someone thinks outside the box!

EKUW, what a good idea! Simple, clean and just a little out of the ordinary. Thanks for the good idea.

Great Idea!. So easy this way and preserves the integrity of the D9P. I too see myself using this technique for quilting this quilt pattern.

Like that idea of separating it into quads, it will help make it easier for me to manage one of my projects, thank you!

I am glad to share my quilting idea. It is certainly an area a lot of us struggle with..."Quilt as desired" . I am always looking for quilting motifs that are easy and in which you don't have to mark your quilt. Much more doable on my DSM. :)
