A couple months back (before I became a member) I was browsing the messages and someone had submitted a picture of a disappearing nine patch bedspread that had a large block with a flower motif and white background. Would it be possible to get directions for that pattern?

Thank you!

Hello, and welcome from Missouri!
If you "search" for D9P here on this board, you will get lots of ideas, and I think there is a tutorial as well.

It is a nine patch that has been cut in half horizontally and vertically. Then you rearrange these blocks into different patterns. You can get many looks from these blocks

One of my favorite "quicky" quilt patterns. You can twist and turn the cut blocks in all kinds of directions to get all kinds of different looks. There are tons of articles and tutorials on D9P on the net.... Good luck!! It's easy and fun.

The D9P was the first block I learned about when I joined the QB. It is so much fun and so versatile. Welcome to the board from South Louisiana.
