Disclaimer for Licensed/Commercial Use Fabric
To add one more note on this subject, it is always recommended that if you are using these types of fabrics for projects you are selling, you include with the item a Disclaimer to further protect yourself should it become necessary.
Suggestions on wording and how to put one together is on this website. They use the example of what to put on an item if you are doing an auction like Ebay, but it would apply also to items you are selling on Etsy, or to friends and coworkers, or in boutiques. http://www.tabberone.com/Trademarks/...sclaimer.shtml If nothing else, it will give you peace of mind. |
Thank you. I find that very helpful. I don't think that I have any licensed designs but will keep it handy as I do make alot of items for our church bazaar.
