I have never bought a quilt but was sorely tempted when I seen a Pineapple quilt, hand quilted. But it was $600 and too much for us to spend. I have always thought about that quilt and said someday I'll make one (I never have.......yet)

I have bought 3 quilts 2 are still good and the other one has come apart at some of the seams. These are the cheap ones you buy in stores.

I've never purchased a quilt, only comforters for the beds.

I bought a couple of quilts when we were working in West Virginia they were from some amish group. I love both of them. One is whole cloth and the other is nice fall colors with some velvets. Kind of expensive but it was before I was brave enough to try myself. I have some my grandmother made that have been used and are in bad shape but I love them to much to get rid of them.

Is that quilt on your avatar "Entwined"? Looks nice. I am making that for my younger daughter's 12th birthday present (Next February). It's about halfway done. timin san jose |
Oh yes. I bought a quilt on EBay to fill the need till I completed one of my own. Still waiting for that to happen (at least one for me).
It was cheap. tim |

Nope.. I've never bought one. I'd rather take it's picture then try to make one like it of my own color choices. It's much more fun to be the quilter or art appreciater.

I've bought some of the cheapie ones and they do fall apart, but then I don't feel bad about it. They do serve a purpose.
I have never bought a handmade quilt, but I have been tempted. I wonder how some people can sell them for so little. I have seen quilts on Etsy for as little as $50 or $75- that's less than I have into mine! |
