Is it Pine Tree?

joyce888 02-23-2012 03:47 PM

Check quilterscache.com. They have one almost identical called Centennial Tree.

momto5 02-23-2012 04:17 PM

everything but the bottom is HST, and the bottom is almost.. Sketch it out!

Tree of life, I have the pattern but it's for a 4" block. Ive seen it on free patterns too

Elaine433 02-25-2012 04:39 AM

It looks like a tree but reminds me of a bear claw.

Agree that it would be easy to sketch out .Use grid paper if you have difficulty with drafting.

Edyta Sitar has this pattern on her web site.

pocoellie 02-25-2012 06:16 AM

I also thought it was tree of life, but it's not a hard pattern to figure out, just HST, figure out what size you want the finished block and go from there.

Johanna Fritz 02-25-2012 06:32 AM

Jinny Beyer "pine tree" slightly modified (larger triangle). See it here:

That's it! Just a slightly different trunk. But otherwise a perfect replica!

Looks like pine tree to me. Draft your own pattern.

Rose Burnett 02-25-2012 09:31 AM

The Temperance Tree Block is the closest match. It should be easy as it is mostly HST's. Let us see the finished quilt.

Hi this is my first time writing but I found this pattern in a book it is called pine tree. the book I found it in is the Ultimate Collection of Classic Quilt Blocks by Jeanne Stauffer & Sandra L Hatch. If I knew how I would post the pattern but I don't sorry.

pinkberrykay 02-27-2012 01:23 PM

I noticed all the patterns posted were "on point" I like how the one in the OP is not "on point".
