Do color catchers work? Yes!
 

A forgotten Christmas decoration was just laying around waiting to be put in the Christmas box. But oops, it got bumped & dropped in a bucket of Epsom salt water. Grabbed real fast, I just laid it aside because things were happening that seemed more important at the time. Now back to the decoration, the white part was now pink verigated, and that wasn't natural. I couldn't imagine what it was but I found out by putting it in a dish pan with a bit of dawn & a color catcher. Within minutes I could see the color catcher soaking up the pink & said decoration was restored. Well it will be when it dries & gets pressed. These things will be a permanent resident of my home! I think I will go back & see if I have any of that fabric left & prewash it now!

Since I am now living in an apt, I have to use the laundromat. With the number of quarters I need to do laundry, I use a color catcher with every load and I haven't had anything ruined with colors running. I wouldn't do laundry without them!

I have used them but never to remove bleeding like this had! Great product.

I just finished a quilt made from a jelly roll. There are some darks and lights so I will wash it with color catchers. I feel so much more confident since I realized how great they work.

Thank you. That adorable set of buttons cost 30 dollars. But I love the way it turned out. I am not an embroidery person. I need more practice.

I never thought to put a color catcher in the water where I "dissolve" the blue ink from embroidery. Thank you so much! Even though I pre test the thread, there is always the oops factor. It's great to know that the color catchers work once it's bled also.

Great product and one I always use for any quilt fabric I get. I have never had a problem with color run since starting to use them. Very cheap insurance! I fear loose dye on fabrics most. I do not generally wash my fabric first and have, at times, had loose dye slough on my hands as I worked with it. But, it will disappear into a color catcher in the wash.

I even used it on a quilt that had gotten washed and dried before I noticed the bleeding. Someone told me to just go ahead and put it back thru the washer with a color catcher and see what happened. It came out and I was so glad as it was a quilt for my mother.

I had red fabric fade on white fabric on the 1st quilt I made. Several of our awesome board members told me about color catchers and in turn saved my quilt. After that I started using them in my wash to brighten my whites and colors. They are now a staple in my household. Love, love, love them.
