I love your table runner!!! And you are right, you sure can't tell the batting is cream/natural. I will experiment and see if my white is thick enough to look as good as your white does with the cream/natural. Thanks, this is very helpful. Dina |
Yes, white would be best for such a wonderful quilt.

It's going to be a beauty!! I would use white.

Yes I would only consider white. I think other colors would show through

Yes, you are right...white batting. Beautiful Quilt of Valor!

I think either white or natural would be fine. Someone told me a long time ago that natural colored bra straps don't show through white nearly as much as white does (on a white blouse). Since that time, I've not worried about white or natural--they are pretty close to the same. Your white is so bright, that it is true that a natural color might make it a tad bit duller, but I honestly doubt it. Only you would know the difference.
So, if it bothers you, or you think it would, then by all means, hop into your car and buy a white white batting. Save your natural for another project. It's really pretty, BTW. I'm sure the recipient will be delighted. |
Thanks, everyone. I use a lot of Warm and White....which is why I am out of it. I am just going to buy more. I think I knew I should do that all along, was just being lazy about going to the store. :)
