My sewing room also is known as my dining room and living room when I’m doing hand sewing.

The dining room is where I sew. The dining room opens to a three season porch that I use to store all my fabric in totes, all my notions and machines. It's not ideal, but works for me.

I finally have my own space. It is a small bedroom. I call it my room.

A few years ago, if you asked my son what his room was called, he replied 'Mom's future quilting room'. Now we are empty nesters and it's 'My quilting room' - and also my Covid office (I'm sure that folks are impressed seeing shelves of fabric during Zoom calls).

In my house, the sewing room is known as the "Mom Cave". "where's Grandma? she's in her Mom Cave"

I call my room, The Craft Room.

Although at times, it's called my 'Time Out Room', when I need to get away from the world for a couple of hours! LOL.

I have a sign above the doorway to the machine room made out of child's play blocks painted in different colors...........TOY ROOM.

When I sew, I enter Asgard, the Norse home of the gods. Why?, you ask. Because my husband named my machines. Odin (Q16), Thor (Juki 2010), Loki (DX5) and Sif (serger). One day I hope to acquire a Freya. I loved Norse mythology as a child.
