I don't have a favorite designer but I am very particular about fabrics. I like crisp, clean colors that are not muddy in any way. I am not a retro fan and I like deep contrasts. Having said that my favorite color combination is Navy and White. I was an Assistant Manager at Fabricland for many years and am particular about color matching so I love collections that have choices and options.

I work a lot with 30's, too - first shopping trip, I asked how much to buy - was told "as much as you can afford". So, now I have enough to make 3 or 4 more quilts 30's. But I have a lot of other fabric too. I really like knock your eye out brights.
