Do you have to use a Westalee foot with Westalee templates?

I bought a dedicated BabyLock/Brother ruler foot and some Quilter’s Rule rulers at a quilt expo and am enjoying them. I have a high shank domestic machine, so I’m using 1/4” rulers.

My question: Some of the Westalee rulers look interesting. Can a non-Westalee foot be used with Westalee template rulers?

Thanks.

I have used Westalee spin rulers with my Bernina foot. The people are excellent to deal with and I would contact them.

Yes, if you have a "ruler foot" you can use it with any template rulers, I have mostly Westalee rulers but do have some from Angela Atwood and 1 I got when I took a class from Kelly Cline. You will find many videos on YouTube regarding use of rulers, if you get a chance to take a class it is well worth it.

I use Westalee rulers and Angela Walters rulers with a Westalee foot but also my new Bernina foot.
