Do you hide
your fabric when you purchase it? I had to laugh I had a 2004 Fon's and Porter magazine that has a story in it about the many ways to hide your fabric after you buy it. One was to use it as a shelf liner. One was to hide it in the trunk until there was no one looking. My friend says her husband lets her buy all the fabric she can hide.lol I don't have to hide mine, but sometimes I feel like it. What ways do you use if you have to keep yours a secred?

No, I do Not hide any purchases from my hubby, ( except his birthday/Christmas gifts)
If my budget couldn't afford it I wouldn't be buying it, if my budget can afford it there is no reason to be hiding it. My husband accepts my being a quilter. We do not hide things from one another. |
No hiding here either.
I don't hide fabric as such, but I'm a bit of a shopaholic and sometimes leave them in trunk, but it doesn't fool hubby he knows as soon as I wear them lol
I am single so I don't have to hide anything.
I don't hide it, I have to pet it and make it feel at home first.
No hiding here. I have my own spending budget every month and so does DH. Our shopping is a non issue to either of us.
I make and spend my own money. On fabric and other things. We each take responsibility for different household bills. I don't owe my husband an explanation about my fabric purchases, nor does he expect one.
It would be kinda hard for me to hide fabric, as SO is usually with me when I buy any
I don't "hide" mine but I don't flaunt it either. I was at a quilt store one time when a whole bunch of women were checking out and they were talking about this. One said that she always wrote "WalMart" in her checkbook when she wrote a check for fabric at a quilt store so that her DH did not see it. LOL
