there is going to be an auction close to me this Sunday. There is a Juki98E and Little Gracie 2 frame advertised. So, I thought I would like some info about these item. Where better to find out about quilting things than Here?? Any info is appreciated.

I don't know anything about the Little Gracie, but the Juki is great. I use mine for sewing, not on a frame. Heavy duty motor will run for hours without overheating....it is however a machine that really likes oil.

My quilting buddy has one and she loves it. I tried it out and it seems nice. She agrees about the thing loving the oil.

So true! My Juki 98E is a workhorse, but remember the feed(oil)!

My Juki is a TL-98 Q on a Hintenberg Frame. LOVE her and would trade her for another. I know she's not the fanciest but fits my needs. Bought her second hand and would do it again!!!

I have one - it's great! Goes forward and backwards really fast and has a large throat for quilting.

Do you have a stitch regulator for your machine on the frame? I don't know much about putting my juki on a frame only that I can.

I have this machine on the Little Gracie II frame. I quilt a lot of quilts on it and I love it. I have added the fourth rail for the batting, and a Sure Stitch Regulator from Grace. It works wonderful, no basting quilts. Oh, I leave the machine on the frame and only use it for quilting.

We must live very close to each other. I was looking over this auction also. It just a few miles from my home.

bkb 04-07-2011 05:24 PM

we are close. I am in Mason.

I'm wondering about the fabric and other things that are selling. I just got a machine and frame.

bkb 04-07-2011 05:30 PM

May I ask where you live?

Country1 04-07-2011 06:20 PM

No, she doesn't have a stitch regulator, but we are okay without it. I guess just what you get use too. We bought them together, but was no problem putting up when we got them home.

I agree - the Juki 98Q is a workhorse :-) Almost identical to the Brother 1500

bkb 04-10-2011 04:36 PM

I didn't get it ...sob sob...but that's ok ! I really want a mid or long arm. I met quiltn'momma a very nice young lady. Her DH is cute too!LOL.

I have two Juki TL 98 QE, no table on them. I use one for piecing and one for quilting. Love the straight stitch only, makes a very nice stitch.

Tink's Mom 04-11-2011 07:08 AM

Sorry you didn't get it...but you can just get it from a dealer...I'll PM you.
