The question should have been phrased "what is the most sung song on earth?"

The "most popular" IMO is quite a different question, which still could be interpreted several ways.

I choose the word 'popular' because no matter where you travel even over seas, everyone knows the song.
With that said if you think my wording was incorrect then I stand corrected.
