I can see very nicely. But I don't know the blocks.

Beautiful blocks. Beautiful fabrics. Don't know the names.

Nothing is coming to my mind about them but you could check www.quilterscache quilt blocks galore and see if you can spot them. Someone else may recognize them on QB.

I know that the first one is the Martha Washington Star. Not sure about the other two.

The middle one looks like a variation of " 54-40 or fight" set on point. All three blocks are really beautiful!

many thanks - you are right. The one is the Martha Washington

Tartan - had a look at quilterscache, but there are sooo many blocks, that I didn't find

I disagree. Martha Washington's Star is a 4-patch block; the one picture above is a 9-patch block. It is also far more complex than Martha's block.

I'm still going through my reference books looking for all three (all three are 9-patch blocks).

Pretty sure at least two if not all are in eq7 program. Will try and check it later.

Looking in EQ7 this morning here is what I found.

These are under the category of Variable Stars and Geometrics.

First one is a "variable star and pinwheel"; second one is "variable star" (there are different ones out there); and third is a "variable geometric star/snowflake". Keyword here is "variable".
