I have a pattern for making lingerie but never have. I prefer the cotton panties though and I think that if I pay more than 10 bucks for 7 pair, that I got ripped off. LOL I do know that it would cost more in time and supplies to make my own though.

Growing up, my Mom taught us to do a lot of things just so we'd know we could do it if we had to.

It's been ages since I've made lingerie, but it was fun. Esp. the little half slip tops we used to wear when wearing sheer blouses and such. I once had the opportunity to take a lingerie sewing class and I've always regretted not taking it.
As to the cost of making lingerie you can buy it cheaper, but I've found that applies to anything I sew these days. Sewing on slinky material is a challenge but I think you will enjoy wearing your own creations. :roll: |

I have been getting free underwear from Victoria's Secret for so long I doubt I'll need any for a looong time! They send out coupons for a free pair w/o making any other purchase.
