[quote=Edie]No! I just watch Fons and Porter on Tuesday and Thursday AM on Public Television! That's enough for me! Edie[/quote

I love your quote that dogs lives are too short. You're so right. I just lost my doxie of 15 years and miss her terribly. 15 years is just not enough time with her. She was such an awesome little dog.

there are so many shows available on utube for free I haven't felt the need to pay.
whenever I have needed help w/ a technique or w/ an idea, I have found a nice short little video that helps-

For those who haven't followed this thread all the way through, Rose Marie, offered up this site and I really like it. One of the neat features today is a video by Billie Lauder doing some really interesting 4 patches!

I payed for one year, then found multiple free sites. I do not have time to make the quilts on my bucket list let alone any more. But, I still like to watch videos that are free.

quilterstv.com has a lot of good videos, but not many new ones.
El Burns has free videos on her website and additional at http://vimeo.com/16003398.

Kaye Woods had free instructional videos on her web site.

Missouri Star Quilt Company has numerous short video tutorials. Plus many of the quilters with web sites have free videos.

Of course this board is wonderful for getting new ideas.

I tried QNN for a year and lost interest in it so I didn't renew. I joined TQS when they had a special and I really enjoy it. I have also done the Missouri Star classes (2 of them) when they were on sale. They are not earthshaking, but I like the review of techniques and quick ideas. The free videos on utube are often super as well. It's all dependent on time and what money is available, I guess. :-D

I also joined a quilt show program for the first year. No value at all. Free on line has much more to offer.
