I redo small things as I go. Never was unhappy enough to take a quilt all apart. I give away alot of my quilts and I can never see them from my house and never see them anywhere again.

i don't redo if it is an insignificant project. however, for gifts and commissioned quilts, i definitely redo

 I'd learn to love it or give it away.

I do alot of re-doing when I am pressing. It seems that I can find little errors at that time. LOL

Me, too. It's easier to fix it then, than later.

I DRAW THE LINE AT A FEW ROWS. IT ALWAYS LOOKS "FIXED"I've thrown away, (Well, I do break down the material. & reuse fabric) entire quilts

Yes, I've taken a quilt sandwich completely apart after quilting it, just didn't like it.

I've redone a couple. Sometimes when I get to a place and don't like where it's going, I put it aside, read a good book, and let it stew in my brain. When I have the aha moment, I go back and finish it up. I find I do a lot less redoing when I do that. I hate to rip out! But I will if I must (O:

Never. I would just put it away and never finish it. I was that way before I started quilting, and when making clothing, if I didn't like it or it didn't look good, I just put it away never to be seen again. I hate redoing things. I will correct small errors, but never rip apart a whole quilt.

Oh, I feel much better about this now. I guess ripping out and redoing is just part of the quilting process ... And I guess I will not complain after reading that Pocoellie ripped one of hers apart AFTER it was quilted! Thanks everyone for your input. :)

Your not alone sometimes I plan something and then see something I think would have been better for my project. I have taken some apart to change something. Sue
