I have had that done for a while and it does help my neck and shoulders when I sew. I have used door stoppers under the back of the machine.

I tilt. You can use door stops that you would get from any hardware store

I also use rubber door stops.

The rubber door stops work great for this. You get them at Walmart or hardware store.

Interesting. When I moved recently, I found my two doorstops in a moving box from the sewing area. Wonder if I tried years ago and it didn't work . . . . .

I tried it with my featherweight and the angle is wrong for my seeing the whole sewing area -- I'll try it when I get back on my other SM

I really like that idea. I'm going to try it and see if it helps my back and neck. Thanks for the idea.
