I have an empty CD case that I keep on my machine and toss them in there while working, then I just dump it in the trash once a week.

Yep, this is me!

i really need one of those thread catchers, i need to make one now!!!!

Where can I find a pattern for one of those thread catchers? My clippings all land on the floor even through I have a small trash basket under the machine.

here are some... think I might try to make one of these myself, just need to get sand for the pincushion part. (they do not all have pincushions, just I need a pincushion, so figured I would do one of those styles)

here is a neat little box tutorial that could also be used as a thread catcher.

(tipnut has tons of stuff, this was linked from tipnut)

nope. I got a cheap dollar store mini plastic trash can and put my trash in that. It's great.

I aim for the trash, but the little buggers just seem to like the floor or my clothes better.

Eleanor Burns taught me well, yes I do!
Not always on purpose though.

On the floor, and on me.. There are always so many. I just vaccumn when I am done..

I made a thread catcher with pin cushion I got off the net. The pin cushion is weighted with sand with pockets for snippers and seam ripper. It works great.

Go get yourself a new toilet brush. It picks threads up off carpet like a dream!
