Katfish, love the cats bowtuck! Too cute! I've only made one bag, not exactly bow tuck, and I want to put the magnetic snap on it. Have had a purse with this and works really well.

Where do you get the pattern and is it called bow tuck?

I have made them both ways (zipper and magnetic closure) - it depends on the user/recipient.

I LOVE IT especially the retro fabric ..I'm inspired to make more...cat fabrics..retro...the possibilities are endless...oh wait guess I have to stop with the computer first....

I have a question about the Bow Tuck....Where do I find a pattern for this wonderful bag? I was in Wichita recently and could not find a pattern........

The way I fix the bottom is with the plastic canvas. Before I turn the bag, I whip stitch the canvas to the seams in the bottom. Then when I turn the purse it is under the lining and it never moves or falls out.
