I have been looking at the Alto cutting system. It looks really nice, but it is pricey and I wondered if anyone has one and how they like it. I find cutting accurately very hard.

We use the Altos QC Pro for all our shop cutting. Have been using it for four years and love it!

I have a very old version and love it. The surface is hard. I hate the plastic ones because it doesn't offer the rigidity that I get from Altos. Since I got mine I got rid of my plastic mats. Highly recommend it.

I love mine. I have both the fabric and mat board cutters.
This makes me wonder if I couldn't use the oval/circle templates for fabric. That would be nice. |
That was an interesting thread, ty. I didnt think of checking for the topic before I posted.

LOVE MINE - and even bought my mom one before she every tried it. And she loves it too.

I have had mine for years. Bought it when my hands first started going bad. They are now much worse, but I can still quilt thanks to the Alto's QuiltCut2. It only takes 1 pressure point to hold the cutting edge and even with tremors it stays put!!!
It was one of the best investments i ever made. I have since looked at the AccuQuilt Go ... but that take too much strength to use it and the dies really cost a bundle. Also there is some fabric wastage I don't like. Yes, you can order your own specially made dies, but, again, they cost. ali |
