I am thinking about purchasing this quilting machine and would like to know if this is a good choice it fits my price range

Try joining the homequiltingsystems group at http://groups.yahoo.com . Most likely several people there have this machine and can comment on it. Also check their "files" section on the website; they have some comparisons and other info in there.
