If so, could you help with with some info? I buy old machines at thrift shops and fix them up for a non-profit that offers quilting classes for the disabled.

I have this nice Riccar Super Stretch machine (364J) but it seems to be missing a bobbin case. Does this machine actually use a bobbin case? I looked on sewingmachineparts.com and found bobbin case assemblies there, but none look exactly like the one on this machine. This one looks as if the bobbin needs a case. There's no way a standard class 15 bobbin case will fit (tried it).

If I can't figure this out soon, I will have to donate this machine back to the thrift shop.

I have an old riccar. My mom bought it new in the 60's. It does have a silver colored bobbin case. I don't know the model number or name on my machine, but it does do a zig-zag stitch. Hope that you can get it working as it is my favorite machine to use.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of. So far haven't been able to find a bobbin case for this machine.
