That's not my quilt in my avatar. I wish I could say that it was. I found this image and feel in love with it. Your avatar is pretty amazing! I love the colors.

You could make the photo into a cover for a photo album. Then friends and family could send photos of the couple for their anniversary that they could fill the album with. You could use a canvas weight fabric. If you've ever helped kids cover their math book, same principle would work.

I can see some black or grey scrolls with applique around this photo on the four centers. Or, perhaps tiny gradiating black to grey squares. Kinda like photo film.

Oh, how about a design like an old movie theater's fasade? You know the fifties style ones?

Great idea for a photo album or maybe a keepsake album. I love your idea but my Mom has every photo she's ever taken organized and documented. She's a calligrapher and she embellishes the photos with beautiful hand drawn images. She has so many albums so don't know if she needs another one.
