Actually, I just found the pattern on Quilterscache - there it's called FIFTY-FOUR FORTY OR FIGHT!

Awesome, what colors are you going to use to make your quilt?

Lockeb 04-07-2010 03:44 PM

I'm not sure - I've been looking for a fun star for a long time - and this star is really appealing to me - I was thinking of perhaps doing something in Civil War Repros....I am so falling in love with the CW colors......

I saw that one too. Such a pretty pattern.

That is a beautiful pattern.... I love CT fabrics...love shopping there....but not sure if I want this kit......but the star block is a block that I really see in another project!!!

My favorite pattern using this block (54 40 or Fight) is the Tennessee Waltz. I've been working on it for almost a year.

Friendship Star Variation-almost. If the pink corners were white
instead, it would be.

That is a very nice pattern. Let us know what you are going to do.

Ditter:
I would be happy to share the pattern with you, but it is spread throughout 45 pages in a wonderful little book. However, I just googled it and found the book at Amazon for $3.99. It would be the most cost effective to simply order it.
Google, TENNESSEE WALTZ QUILT by SUE BOUCHARD.
This book includes yardage for five quilt sizes as well as a table runner. The info is sort of intermingled throughout the book. You'll love this quilt. I adore mine and have been working on it off and on for a while.
You may or may not know...Sue Bouchard is Eleanor Burns right hand. They have done several books together.
I am going to post this on the forum since others have also expressed interest in this beautiful pattern.
