That is a cute pattern. You could probably just look at the picture and figure out the pattern. I might try this one for my dog. I already have a cat pattern that I want to do for the cat. Now that Christmas is over and my quilts are done as gifts, I will treat my own animals to their own quilts. My dog just loves getting under blankets.

I think I would contact them and ask if they can send it to you a different way to try to save you some $. I have found that most of the time it works to ask. Good luck, it is a cute pattern.

If you like, I will buy the pattern, have it sent to me, I'll send it to you in Canada, and you can send me a check for the pattern plus the actual postage. It will defiitely take longer, but it's an option. PM me if you're interested.

Look for a book by the pattern designer, lots of times these are available from amazon for a few dollars

Connie1948 12-30-2008 07:10 AM

I will be more than happy to purchase it and send it to you. Just send me a check for my expenses when you receive it. I found it for 7.50 which includes the postage to my house.

www.bdieges.com is where you can find this pattern. I also just might order it for myself. This Company is loacated in California.
Have a Blessed New Year!

thank you so much connie ,and you too have a happy new year and many blessing for this coming year

Connie, I ordered it for Gale earlier today after she PM'd me, so get it only if you wanrt it for yourself. Dawn's idea sounds like an excellent one for the future though. Do Canadian retailers sock it to stateside buyers as much as we seem to for postage or freight?

grma33 12-30-2008 02:55 PM

That sometimes doesn`t work as I asked my lq store for a Canadian Patter and she couldn`t get it.I ordered it off the web site but mailing was cheap.
Gale
Thanks to all who were willing to get it for me.

Connie1948 12-31-2008 03:35 AM

I have ordered it for myself....it is just too cute!

auntluc 12-31-2008 04:31 AM

This pattern is darling. I just had to order it. I want to make it with my little Dachshund in mind.

Connie1948 01-05-2009 12:58 PM

I ordered the pattern and it was in my mail box in 3 days.
It looks easy from the instructions.

You're a lot closer to California than I am, Connie, so Gale's copy hasn't gotten this far yet! Three days is pretty quick, for sure!
