Does anyone use the Continuous Hoop on their embroidery machine?
I have been looking at them for a while and just not sure if it is worth the investment. I have the Husqvarna Topaz 20 and they do make the continuous hoop for it. I am just not sure if the hoop works like it sounds like it will. so please let me know good and bad if you have one or used one and decided not to buy it.
Thank you all in advance for your assistance. |
I have one for my Pfaff, and have used it for making eyelet type edging and continuous embroidery on nightgowns and shirts. Just pay close attention to the guide stitches it sets up.

I made a Christmas runner for my table and quilted it using the endless hoop. My table is 17' long, and it worked very well.

Gee thanks PaperPrincess! I've thought about getting the endless hoop for my D1 for ever, but always talk myself out of it. Afraid it wasn't worth the money LOL

Have you thought about or seen the new magnetic hoop that Viking has come out with???? Every person that I know that has one loves it..
|
I have used the endless hoops for my Pfaff and really like them. It is much easier to keep the patterns going straight and faster than re hooping (and they have some beautiful patterns for them). The only down side is that they can only be used on the edge of the work because they are hinged at the side.

Good to know. I had wondered about them too.

Change the work into pieced. Embroider what you want, and piece it into project.

I use the Mega endless hoop for my Viking Ruby all the time.
