brother innovis 4500? if so do you have trouble getting the attachments for embroidery on?

I don't have the 4500, but I do have an Innovis 4000. I don't have any problem with any of the attachments. Sorry if you're struggling with yours. What seems to be the difficulty?

I think I am afraid of it! Lol. Every page in my manual is filled with warning boxes that if you don't get it put together right you could damage the machine or injure yourself. I have only gotten the small hoop on without problems. Is there a trick to it? Any suggestions would be welcomed!

I have the 4500D. Remember that information was probably required by the lawyers to be printed on the pages. Of course if you set up the machine wrong you MIGHT get hurt or damage your machine. Also your might NOT. Follow the directions carefully. Eyeball the setup when you get through. If it looks right then it probably is. If the machine sounds right when it runs, the you probably did it right. After a few times you will feel confident. Do you have any specific questions? I'll try to answer them if I can - probably on Sunday night. If you can use the small hoop, you can use the medium and large hoop. They are larger but not different. What other attachments do you have?

Hi, Tanya. I just have three sizes of the hoops. I know I can figure out the commuter end if I can get past the "mechanical" end. I don use my machine for piecing and SID, and I use the character stitching alphabet for labels. But, I really hope to get to use the Disney designs soon!

I started out putting designs on T=shirts, then did about 5o napkins with comic Christmas designs. The built-in Disney designs are easy to use once the hoop is in place. The hoop is easy to attach once the fabric is in the hoop.

Yes, I have the book. I have found it very disorganized and have to go to several pages in different sections to get a good description of a topic...and all those warning boxes! I guess I will have to just summon the courage to jump in with both feet and figure it out!

Are you close enough to the store where you bought your machine to go the store and have the procedure explained t o you? My machine came with instructions included in the purchase price, but, alas, it is 2 hours from where I live.
The procedure really isn't difficult and if you could see someone do it and then do it yourself while you asked questions you could learn it very quickly and easily.
