Does anyone use

The small tips that you can buy for the Elmers glue bottles? I have seen them in tutorials and they seem to do a good job on bindings. If you use one do you like it and where did you get it? Is it plastic or is it metal? Thank you for any information you may offer.

I have the metal ones that were sold on Sharon Schamber website a long time ago. The glue is hard to squeeze out of the tiny nozzle for me. I use Roxanne's basting glue a lot so when I had an empty bottle I filled it with Elmers. The smaller bottle was easier to manage for bindings and it has a great nozzle.

Try searching for Roxanne's glue-baste-it on line. I'm not sure who sells it but it comes with a long metal tip and a spare. I always keep a cap on it and rinse the cap out with water after use so the little metal tube doesn't get plugged up.

I use the Elmers school glue. I found a package of 6 tips in 3 different sizes at walmart. They are made by Plaid Enterprises to use with craft acrylic paints. They work great. If you don't find them at walmart try Michaels or Joanns.

Someone shared a site a while back where they showed how to use clear tape to form a small tip. Clean up was easy as you just peeled the tape off the nuzzle and threw it away. Another tip was to take apart a pump pencil and use that tip but I was not sure how they did that.

I bought mine a couple of years ago at michaels in the paint dept.

Someone told me to look at a beauty supply store.

Elmers makes a double tip bottle that has a small tip and a wide tip, I bought it at Walmart and found if I pull the wide tip out I can refill it from my larger bottle.

Thank you all. I will try all these revenues and hopefully will find a good one. As luck HAS it I just returned from Wal-Mart. I need to work on getting my ducks in a row. Maybe tomorrow I can stop again when I am in town. Thank you one and all.
