I have never worked on a frame like that but I have hand quilted and I would think you work from the center out else you might run into problems as you get closer to the center. Years ago I had an online friend that worked on a frame like this. I hope someone familiar with this frame will respond.

It's similar to quilting with a hoop. You'd start at the center and re-hoop as you go.

This one would be similar to how the quilt is handled on a longarm. Start at one end and roll it up as you go.
