I am working on a project that lives in my head:o Kind of a trip around the world variation. I am sure these small square blocks have some name, can you help? 4 patch on point inside a square, thank you!!!!

Love your choice of fabric. I'm not good at naming blocks unless they're distinctive to me. Reminds me of Easter colors!!

I would think it would be called a 4 patch on point.

I think the basic name is four patch on point.

What you have pictured looks like a four patch set on point. Do you mean you would then set this block into another square?

It is a 4- patch on point.

I love putting triangles on a block and making the block on point. Looks good to me.

I like the floating 4-patches, but the secondary patterns mentioned at the end will not be noticed once it is well pressed and quilted. Those are the seams you see making those patterns, and after quilting they will virtually disappear.

Pretty fabric selection whether you use all or part of them... It will be fun to see the outcome.
