Today I bought a brother se400 as a spare embroidery machine. Before I unpack it, does it work with Windows 7? The instructions concerning transferring designs from the computer only give directions for Vista. TIA

I would check their website, they usually have updates you download to your machine for that, they should have one. The manual will tell you how to download the updates

I have already gone to the website and there are no updates. So, hopefully, Windows 7 will work.

Yes it works with windows 7.pes format
