It's REALLY NICE! I personally would use the dark fabric that you used for a border on some of the blocks and make a small border around the quilt with that and then bind it with a medium green. It's a VERY nice throw and I'm sure the recipients will love it!

I don't think every quilt needs a border. If it's the size you want, just bind it and be done. It's a beautiful quilt.

Quilt looks perfect just as it is. It's my favorite color--well executed!

A small border would set it off. Use your trellis fabric

I am voting for no border.

What look are you wanting to achieve? Right now it has a more modern look, adding any type of border may change that look. Since the dark green is spread over the quilt binding it in that color would give it a nice, clean finish. Personally I think that would be a good choice to finish the look it currently has. It is a beautiful quilt, green has so many special meanings in different cultures, but the constant theme is a long, healthy life. Excellent choice!

If I were to use a border (and it'll look great either way), I'd make a border the same width as the borders around the blocks. I'd use a lighter color, though, because if you use the same color as the darker green, some of the blocks would look like they have a wider border on one side. I'm OCD, though, & like everything uniform. Then I'd bind it in the darkest color of the block borders. Very nice quilt.

would bind it in black and be done

Either way....it is awesome and striking.
