Does Zorb stick to your Cutting Board
 

HI folks, just noticed when i'm cutting the Zorb Original fabric, it sticks to the cutting mat and leaves little bits behind when lifting it away. Not sure if it's a combination of the tooth of the fabric & mat or the mat surface deteriorating. I think it's just the combo but is a pain when having to rub the little left-overs off. Anyone else notice this?

I looked up Zorb. How can it be used?

I looked it up too. Looks like a non woven material. More like batting or felted. If that is what it is, I think it is the nature of the material to leave bits behind. Maybe you can use a scrubby to clean it

I think to avoid the problem you are having, I would cut all the layers of the item at once, stacking them with the zorb sandwiched between two other fabrics, if possible. At any rate, don't put the zorb on the bottom.

What are you trying to make with the Zorb. I too looked it up and it looks as though it can be used as a diaper liner too. I can't tell from pictures just how thick it is. It does seem to be quite absorbent. I would think however that the fibers are getting stuck in you mat because it is not a woven fabric. I would brush you mat well and wash out the fibers gently. I would also clean out your blades from the fibers that can collect in there.
