I go to a certain quilt retreat twice a year where some of the ladies are always working on doll quilts. Is there a good reference or pattern book out there to get me started? I want to surprise them with one I made next time we meet.

Chele has an ebook available! Or, you could do as I do -- just scale down a block you like and make about 12 of them in great colors!

Chele runs a monthly doll quilt swap. Take a look at some of those threads. There are so many ideas, and beautiful little quilts. Each person posts a picture of the quilt they receive. Link to the May swap: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-118025-1.htm

If you want traditional looking quilts, the "Little Quilts" gals from Marietta, GA have a couple of great books. As does Kathleen Tracey--"American Doll Quilts".
