I need some help. I want to make some small quilts for my nieces to play with but I don't know what size to make them. I well, don't have any dolls in the house. :) So what size would make for like cabbage patch size dolls. Thanks

I made my nieces baby doll quilts that were 24x24". Although Chloe's never made it to the baby doll. She sleeps with it and wags it all around. And I think Keira's mom hung hers on her wall.

24" sounds good. And you can get real creative with these since they are smaller. Do show us pics please! :)

24" is a great size to use for many different dolls :D:D:D

the doll quilts we make for the swap can be any size between 12" and 30", they do not have to be square, they can be rectangles (doll cribs/cradles are not square)
they are fun to make, check out the pictures from the doll quilt swap it has been going on all year, you will find lots of inspiration |
I make lots of dolly quilts from leftover or sample blocks, I add a border or two and they are done. I think 16 x 20 is a good size. My guild donates dolly quilts to a local senior center, they add a doll or teddy bear as Christmas gifts to the Head Start kids in their town. May in Jersey
