Don't forget to check the Archives!

I wondered why my threads never showed up in the main page of the Digest. One day I was checking the Archives and lo and behold there was my thread. I hadn't realized that only some threads go on the main Digest page and the others are in Archives. So now I don't even check the main page, but go straight to the Archives so I don't miss anything. Anyone else not know this? Well, now you do.

If you rely on the digest then you're missing out on most of the board. You don't have to go to archives though - just visit any section, sort by time posted, and you will see the newest threads.

I never get a digest and I never go to the archives. The home page of the board is pinned to my Chrome bookmark bar. One click and I have the whole board to read.

I check both. I've found some posts on the main page that weren't in the archives and vice versa.

another time saver is the "Unread Threads" list (under What's New?)
if you are logged in, the list will show all the threads you haven't yet looked at for the first time.
if you click on "Mark All Forums Read" it will clear that list for a fresh start. Lists will then include any that have been created since you marked them read. :)

Thanks for the nice reminder PatriceJ

Thank you, thank you, Patrice! This is like I used to do in the old forum! Now I get a sampling of everything!
