Oh I have forgotten to take photos of some of my quilts and I end up so disappointed that I forgot. But not only quilts but some other crafting projects as well. :o(

I made a very professional looking Bow Tuck for our daughter. I forgot the photo so took it the next time I saw her. It was so filled with school responsibilities it looked like a stuffed pig, but it did demonstrate how much they can hold and how convenient all of the side pockets are.

Yep, I just made another three dolls (as in my avatar) and I forgot to take pics before I dropped them in the mail. They turned out really cute, too.

I find myself taking pictures, then finding that I already have that one on my Quilt file. Duh

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Rarely make labels either.

Not so much since I've been on the QB, but yes, quite a few of mine were never documented.

I can't take any pictures of my quilts lately. My husband was going to take a picture of something and couldn't get it to work, so he threw it on the floor.

Yes, I do this all the time. I just went to spend the day with my daughter and asked her to pull out all the stuff I've sewn for her soon-to-be-born son so I could take pictures. The last time I was seeing her I was so excited to take the stuff to her that as soon as they came out of the dryer, I folded them up and put them in a bag for her. Duh!!!

oh, heres another idea (wow, my second in 10 min)
For all the things you make, take a pic and actually put it in an album. with the picture do a small write up (basic who-what-where-why-when-how) about it and where you sent it.
I do really think all these modern people will mellow over time and miss the quilts they coulda/shoulda had. Especially when thelook at the picture and see how wonderful your work was. share t

Yes, I’ve done this way too often.
