Double Slice pattern

I found a tutorial on You tube for the double slice pattern from 10" sqs. I started last night , cut 42 sqares and sliced and sewed the 42 in a few hrs. Today I will do the second slice, arrage and start. So, easy and a pretty scrappy look.

Be sure you post pictures when you get it together, OK? I've heard of this quilt but have yet to see it, so I'm anxious to see yours!

I have never heard of the double slice. Think I need to do some searching on that. Here is a disappearing nine patch that I am working on. The pattern recommended making the 5 patches dark and the 4 patches light. Of course, I had to do it backwards. Not sure if I like it this way or not. Oh well, just another reason to make another one. lol.
