Double Wedding Ring question
 

Hello,
Has anyone ever made the dwr from McCall's free pattern? When I sew together the arc units and the center (football) together do I go from point to point or do I leave a little ear on the beginning and the end of the football? Hope you know what I am talking about.

I think from, what you are saying, that you should mark a dot 1/4" at each end of the 'football (not from the point but from the sides) and sew JUST to that dot, and you would have a 1/4" seam allowance on your arc unit to match. Then when you sew the arc unit on the other side you would end up in the same dot.
