Thank you for the address to mqke my own quilted fabric. I am looking to make a small purse to hang from a walker. Any ideas?

Joanns carries both kinds cotton and flannel. Ive only found flannel once in a while.
My granddaughter loves her flannel quilt and has worn it out.

For what it's worth- I've never seen pre-quilted fabric that was good quality. I had some that a customer bought for me to make a backpack. It was so flimsy that I had to use a double layer. I much prefer to quilt my own. For a tote bag, I think you would want sturdy fabric.

Always use a 40% off at Joanns as it is so expensive

I enjoy making my own quilted fabric. Then you can be assured that no one else will have the same fabric as yours.
It is timely to make but well worth the effort.

please post the directions when you get them, I have been wanting to make one, but couldn't come up with a pattern that I liked.

I agree. If you don't have a nice affordable source nearby then make your own. It's a great stash buster. You don't have to quilt using a grid but can do a serpentine style grid or other simple design and make it yours. You might even make one or two for friends.
