Down in the Valley
 

Have any of you bought the book "Down in the Valley", paper piecing? I love the houses and trees the pictures in the book are beautiful. I decided to start small with a wall hanging. So far so good, it is turning out to be really nice. I just tackled the stars in the sky. Oh my gosh they are sooooo small. Have any of you worked out of this book and have any advice on doing these stars. I have already pitched two and am now on trying my third. I will soon be off to the store to buy blue fabric with stars already in it. lol...thanks for any advice.

Off to the store to buy blue fabric with stars in it - sounds like the answer to me - not sure how I'd approach that situation other than what you are doing!! :) Go for it - and enjoy the finished product with lot less duldrum getting it finished.

...Or you could try embroidering the stars...
