I just put my kit request in, and will be getting fabric out later this evening to start one while waiting for the kit to arrive.

I was looking through the gallery and seen this quilt, I love the pattern anyone know what it is?

I've done one, and have the fabric for a second. My daughter did one, too. I am so impressed that Downy does this. Such a wonderful cause.

Finished one and sent that one back now I have two more and just finished making the tops and started today to quilt the first one. The fabric is wonderful. I think I've found my destiny in life. Rufus2

I just finished this one, the fabrics are SO fun! Am looking through my stash to see what I can put together for a second one. The border is actually hot pink, the pic makes it look orange.

This looks like a 9-patch block that was cut on an angle using the "X-block ruler". By using that it gives you the pinwheel effect. I just did one and used the scraps cut from the first quilt top to make a second, smaller quilt top using a pattern called Topsy-Twosy with the ruler. A really different gadget to play around with!

Rufus..go to PROJECT LINUS.com and see if there is a group in your area...we make quilts for kids in crisis situations and there are chapters all over the USA. It is also a wonderful place to help kids... go take a look.

I have made several quilts for Downy, I love their fabrics and I have been having fun picking out fabrics from my stash for the extras :D:D:D
