Has anyone had any success in using it in the bobbin?

I don't use it anymore because it always breaks. Either in the needle or the bobbin. It is a waste of my time but then I may not be doing something right.

I only use Superiors MonoPoly. I never have a problem with it.

Not only that, most of it you can't iron as it melts!

I had a machine quilting class and we used it in the bobbin. It was specified not to use the nylon invisible thread only poly. There is great info about this at Superior Threads website.

My Viking dealer told me not to use the invisible thread in the bobbin. Come to think of it, he didn't say which one not to use, Perhaps he didn't realize there are different kinds. I didn't think to ask either.

yes. I just wind it with less tension so it doesn't stretch it. I haven't had the tension problems other people have.

I often use it in the bobbin. If your bobbin case has a little "finger" on it with a hole, thread it through there, then insert the bobbin. Works fine like that in my older Bernina.

Never use it because it melts if someone would iron my tablerunners.
