Dream Cotton from Marshalls dry goods
Just curious if anybody uses the Dream cotton from Marshals. Is it a decent quality? Thanks

It is very high quality. Made at the same mill as Moda Bella Solids and probably exactly the same thing. Don't hesitate, it's great!

I buy it by the bolt. It's $2. 25 per yard if you buy a bolt. I will always use white, black, cream, and gray. Call a rep there. You don't need a tax number to buy. I go to the warehouse a lot since it is about 1 1/2 hours from me and get to sort though the bolts to find the low yardage bolts. Sometimes the reps don't have time to sort though them looking for lower yardage. It is better then Kona in my opinion.

It's all I use for solids. Excellent quality. I buy the black and white by the bolt.

Thank you all for feed back! Will be ordering today!

Wow, that's a great price for such value! thanks for the tip.

I love it! I buy black, cream, and white by the bolt. can't beat it for quality

I went to their website and didn't see "cream". Would that be "natural"?

I’m hoping yiu all are meaning Quilter’s Dream cotton - I love this stuff and have used Reserve and Select. I prefer thin batting and both of these are perfect for me. I’m going to try some of their 80/20 one of these days (have to put it,on my list!!).

I like their blended cottons as well. Nice weight.

I think they are talking about a fabric line whereas Quilter's Dream is a line of batting.

Went to Marshalls a few weeks ago.
Dream cotton comes in wide backing too. If you ever go to Marshall's keep a big part of your budget for bolts of Dream Cotton. The reds and darker colors have never bled. Wholesale site to buy from a rep is: https://marshalldrygoods.com/shop/wholesale/ Their policy had changed. You can buy only bolts of their brand MDG if you don't have a tax number. Other brands you need a tax number. The quilt shops were complaining about the low price the public was paying. I was in the rep's office to pay for my bolts and he was on the phone. He motioned for me to sit down. I heard him make a sale to a quilt shop in Texas for 50 yard bolts of assorted Riley Blake fabric for $1.29 a yard. Ask to be put on the email list to see all the new fabric when it comes in. Retail to buy yardage is: https://marshalldrygoods.com/shop/home/ |
