Dresden needs ideas for background...
 

I started this Dresden in memory of my mother. She was crazy about lilacs and our house was painted in lilac tones from the kitchen to the bathrooms. She also loved any red flowers. I am not certain about the background.....White silk, linen???any suggestions????

Could you add a picture of your Mother in the center circle, or her name, or the family name. Just giving you ideas.

If you are going to use white for the background my suggestion would be to remove the lighter fabrics and make all the blades med to dark so they each show up.

i agree remove the whites for a cream which will show up against a brilliant white. Love the idea and your work so far.

Very pretty fabric. I would use only 100% white cotton from either RK or Moda.
