Where can I find a pattern? I see everyone's beautiful quilts and I've mastered making one block, but I need a pattern. I'm not creative enough to figure out yardage, etc. to make a quilt.
Thanks |
What size quilt are you looking for?

Go the Missouri Star Quilt Company site and look under their "Tutorials", then "Project Tutorials" and look for the Dresden Plate tutorial. Very easy and quick way to make a Dresden Plate!
Hope this helps! Patti |
My hubby bought me an Accuquilt for my birthday and I bought the dresdan plate die. I am making placemats for my sisters for christmas.

I got mine from the website for McCalls Quick Quilts. Instructions and template to download for free. When I got to the home page, I typed dresden plate pattern in the search bar and it came right up.

Here's a free pattern:
http://www.quilterscache.com/D/DresdenPlateBlock.html I use the pattern from Egg Money Quilts and I also bought their acrylic template. I also don't cutout the back after appliqueing it down. I feel it gives it more stability since it has all those seams in the petals. I think the only ones who need to cut out the backs are the ones who are hand quilting. |
Egg Money Quilts is a great book!
Also look at Missouri Quilt Company. http://missouriquiltco.com/shop/store-front They have templates at a good price many times. |
The Dresden from Egg Money Quilts is still my favorite Has very simple easy to understand directions

paperpieces.com have lots of patterns, also FREE design sheets you can print off and color to design your own quilts
