Dresden Snowflake
I'm hoping someone has instructions or a link for how to make a dresden snowflake... where the blades are different lengths like ice crystals. I would like to make a 12" dresden snowflake.
Thanks in advance! |
Never mind! I found out how to do it. Thanks for reading.

Oooh. I had to look that one up. Very pretty. Love to see how yours turns out

Are you going to post a picture of the Dresden Snowflake?

I never found a pattern so I just plunged in with my dresden ruler and made one following a picture from Pinterest. I figured out that for a 12" block, you need "blades" that are 5" long (5), 4" long (10), and 3" (5). Altogether, 20 blades.
Here's mine: It's for one of the ladies in the Boom block swap. She's doing a Christmas quilt. |
