Does anyone know a good source for Dry Cover Up, which is used in machine embroidery? Or even a good substitute?
THANKS,
Jo Ann

I just read in Creative Machine Embridery magazine that you can stitch the outline of the object, then use fabric markers to color under the embroidery, with the color you will be embroidering, let it dry and then embroider it. They also listed a source, will have to get my magazine and refresh my memory on that. Anyway I had never heard about the fabric marker but it I think it is a great idea!

That is a great idea. So glad you were aware of this.
Thanks,

Here is a link to an article about it and an online source for the item.

Apparently it is now called "Fabric Cover"

Here is an additional online source for it:

I have never heard of this product.
Why/when would you use it?

Maybe its just me.(?) But I can't see why you would want to put pieces of vinyl on the backside of a machine embroidered project. It surprises me some of the stuff that comes on the market these days.
